Agency Mission

The 35-member Developmental Disabilities Planning Council (DDPC) is federally funded through the Federal Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, originally passed in 1975 and recently reauthorized. The Council's staff of 18 administers and monitors contracts with not-for-profit agencies to enhance services and service delivery to persons with developmental disabilities in order to improve their quality of life.

Year-to-Year Change

The Executive recommends an All Funds budget of $4,300,000, a decrease of $36,000, or 0.83 percent. The change reflects an anticipated decrease in federal support.

The Assembly makes no changes to the Executive's proposal.
