|
The Executive recommends a General Fund appropriation of $65,000,000 for the Medical Malpractice Insurance Association (MMIA), a decrease of $1,005,028,000 from State Fiscal Year 2003-04. Although the dissolution of assets for MMIA was finalized in 1999, a SFY 2004-05 appropriation is preserved until the final required federal approvals are attained. The appropriation, however, has been resized to reflect the maximum level of remaining State liability. |
