A yearly fall, family tradition, the Town of Neversink and its residents recently celebrated the 32nd Annual Giant Pumpkin Party with Assemblyman Brian Miller (R,I-New Hartford) on hand for the festivities. Local children participated in a parade and costume march while best float, hay bale throwing, country bake and giant pumpkin contests were also held for those in attendance. “The Giant Pumpkin Party is a fantastic event for the local community and it was a pleasure to take part in it,” said Miller. “There was something for everyone, a costume march and games for the kids, competitions for the adults and a lot of delicious food. I can’t wait for next year’s event and I encourage anyone who wasn’t able to make it this year to mark it on the calendar for next year. It takes a lot of people to put on this event in Neversink and we had the pleasure of meeting some of them. Thank you to the organizers for putting it together, local law enforcement officials for their presence and all of our residents for attending and making this a fun experience.”
