Miller Named to NY Farm Bureau Circle of Friends
Work and efforts in support of New York state agriculture recognized
Yesterday, Assemblyman Brian Miller (R,I-New Hartford) was recognized for his efforts in support of farming and agriculture in New York state by being named to the prestigious Circle of Friends by the New York Farm Bureau.
“This is such an honor for me to be named to the Farm Bureau’s Circle of Friends in my first year as a state legislator,” said Miller. “Our district is a large contributor to New York State’s agriculture industry. Many of our families make a living growing crops and raising livestock. It is important for them to know that I support their work and will continue to fight for legislation that will keep them in business for years to come.”
“New York Farm Bureau congratulates Assemblyman Brian Miller for being named to the 2017 Circle of Friends. It recognizes his strong voting record on a host of bills that are important to farmers in his district and the rural economy as a whole. We look forward to continued collaboration as the new session is about to get underway in Albany,” said Jeff Williams, New York Farm Bureau’s Public Policy Director.
The New York Farm Bureau Circle of Friends honors legislators with this distinction each year for supporting farm families in New York State. The recognition is based on voting records regarding issues of importance to the agriculture industry within the state.
