Miller On Cuomo’s Budget Presentation
A statement from Assemblyman Brian Miller (R,I-New Hartford)
January 16, 2018
“What I want to see from a state budget is a plan that supports the middle class, a plan that improves the daily lives of our residents and a plan that provides help now – not in five – 10 years when another million residents have been forced to flee for greener pastures. I want action, not promises, rhetoric and political posturing. Stop spending billions on failed economic development schemes and invest in our communities. Provide real tax cuts that allow residents to keep their hard-earned paychecks, fund our schools, fix our roads and fund programming to stamp out still rampant heroin and opioid abuse. That is a budget we can all get behind.”
