Assemblyman Brian Miller (R,I,C,Ref-New Hartford) helped share some love this Valentine’s Day by hosting his annual “Valentines for Seniors” Program that matches local elementary students with the elderly. This year, Miller joined third graders from Walden Elementary School in making the valentines he later delivered to seniors at Montgomery Nursing Home.

“It is wonderful to spend quality, interactive time with seniors and students on a project that helps remind us all of how fortunate we are. Life is short but we are fortunate to live in a caring community that looks out for each other,” said Miller.

In addition to making and delivering the valentines, Miller also spent time with the students and seniors discussing the legislative process and updating them on progress on the state budget and other legislative issues.
