Friend Supports Reduced Spending
Assemblyman Christopher Friend (R-Big Flats) responds to State of the State Address
January 7, 2011
Governor Cuomo’s address enumerated his plans to make New York state fiscally responsible with goals to reduce spending and make government more efficient. I firmly support these plans and I implore the governor to follow through on his ideas. In the coming year, I hope the governor also will support policies that reduce the tax burden and catalyze private-sector growth. I am optimistic that we can work together to tackle the issues affecting hardworking taxpayers and make New York a better home for families and businesses.
