Assemblyman Christopher Friend (R,C,I – Big Flats) today joined his colleagues and members of the organization Blue Lives Matter NYC to raise awareness of the group’s mission. Blue Lives Matter works with the families of fallen officers around the country to help ease the pain of losing those who give the ultimate sacrifice for the communities they serve.

“The work of Blue Lives Matter is remarkable,” Friend said. “I am proud to support this organization and all they do for our local heroes. The services they provide for families are invaluable. I wish them continued luck in their journey to ease the pain and suffering of the families fallen officers leave behind.”
