Friend Urges Farmers to Testify at Upcoming Virtual Wage Board Hearings

“I urge all farmers to submit their testimony to the Farm Laborers Wage Board as they resume their hearings. We must ensure family farmers and our rural communities are heard in this process as the Board will be making recommendations that affect how our farms operate. This could negatively impact our rural economies and drive more family farms into extinction,” said Friend. “Family farms are the backbone of our rural communities and state, and they must be heard.”
