“It is a sad day that it even got to this point, but the announced FBI probe into the Cuomo administration is welcome news to many concerned and grieving New Yorkers. The loss of 15,000 lives in our nursing homes is an utter tragedy, made worse by the leaps and jumps the governor and his administration took to obscure data from the entire public and those who could hold him accountable. Even as the governor and his cohorts are investigated, the Legislature must step up and act now. The governor must immediately be stripped of his expanded emergency powers.”
