Queens, New York - Assemblyman David Weprin issued the following statement in response to Sunday’s attacks in Orlando, Florida:

“A hateful attack against any group is a hateful attack against all of us, an assault on our shared values and a threat to our identity as Americans. When others seek to divide us, we must stand united against each and every incident of hate. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the terrorist attack in Orlando and I look forward to continuing to stand with all Americans, regardless of race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.”
