After years of working with the community, I am thrilled that the New York City Department of Transportation has announced that they will be installing additional traffic control signals at the intersection of Bleecker and Grove Streets. This is a huge victory for the community who has been fighting for improved safety that a traffic signal provides. Work is tentatively scheduled to be completed by March 31, 2012.
