Assemblyman Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) and Assemblyman Michael Montesano (R,C,I-Glen Head) are thanking residents, Long Island Blood Services and the Gold Coast Public Library for making their annual Blood Drive a huge community success. Overall, 39 units of blood were collected, and as a reward for their valuable contribution, all donors received two tickets to an upcoming New York Mets game from the Long Island Blood Services.
“Thank you to everyone who participated in this community blood drive,” said Ra. “Our regional blood banks are always in need of donations, and the blood donated by our generous community members may save someone’s life. I am truly overwhelmed with the number of residents who joined us at today’s event. Their donations will make a great difference.”
“I would like to express my sincere thanks to donors, Long Island Blood Services and the Gold Coast Public Library; their collaborated efforts made our blood drive a great success.” said Montesano. “I appreciate those who took the time to come out and make a donation. It was great to see so many of our residents join us in support of a great cause.”
