Ra to Host Identity Theft Prevention Seminar May 3 in Glen Head
Encourages residents to attend this free event
Assemblyman Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) will be hosting a free identity theft prevention seminar on Wednesday, May 3 at 6 p.m. at the Gold Coast Library Annex located at 40 Railroad Avenue in Glen Head. Residents will learn how to protect themselves from identity thieves, hackers and other criminals, and a member of Nassau County Consumer Affairs will be present to answer questions.
“This is a tremendous free opportunity for residents to learn about one of the nation’s fastest-growing crimes and why they may be susceptible to threats,” Ra said. “Everyday actions like shopping online, mobile banking and credit card purchases can leave an individual vulnerable to identity theft and financial calamity. I encourage all residents interested to join us next Wednesday.”
