Davidson, a Floral Park resident and a 15-year veteran of FDNY who lost his life last night while extinguishing a fire on a movie set in Brooklyn. Michael followed in his father’s footsteps to become a firefighter. He showed an enormous amount of courage, risking his life to save others, and was cited four times in his 15 years for bravery while on duty. A true hero, this is a devastating loss to the FDNY and the Long Island community.”
