I was pleased to support legislation requiring hundreds of millions of settlement dollars coming to the state be spent on treatment and recovery. Addiction is a disease. This funding should be dedicated to bolstering our efforts to treat it with compassion. This ‘lockbox’ law will ensure that is what happens.”
