Brabenec Joins Call to Fund Local Roads, Bridges, and Culverts

A statement from Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,C,I-Deerpark)

“Outside New York City, the vast majority of our roads are owned, operated and maintained by local governments and municipalities. The Consolidated Local Street and Highway Improvement Program (CHIPs) is absolutely essential to repairing and maintaining our local infrastructure. I am proud to join my colleagues in the Assembly Minority Conference in calling for an increase in funding for CHIPs and will always fight for our tremendous highway superintendents, their hardworking employees and the communities across New York state they serve.”
