Brabenec Holds Food Drive for Holiday Season
Assemblyman asks neighbors to donate food to those less fortunate
Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,C,I-Deerpark) is partnering with local charities to collect and distribute food to those less fortunate during the holiday season. Donations of canned goods, pasta, cereal, dry milk, almond milk, soy milk, baby formula, diapers, coffee, tea, toilet paper, paper towels, soap, laundry detergent, shampoo and any other non-perishables can be dropped off at a number of locations throughout the district.
“Growing up in the Hudson Valley, I’ve seen the holiday spirit thrive in residents,” said Brabenec. “Their willingness to extend a helping hand to those less fortunate year after year is exactly what makes the people of Orange and Rockland counties great. I’m excited to partner with great charities this year to help make the holidays special for those in need.”
