Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,TCN-Deerpark) recently visited students at Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary in Cuddebackville in support of their Valentine’s for Seniors Event. Students made Valentines for seniors at St. Joseph's Nursing Home and Assemblyman Brabenec delivered them. Students also had a chance to hear from Assemblyman Brabenec about what he does and how state government works.

“This event gave students the opportunity to do something special for their elders and to learn about government in the process,” said Brabenec. “I was privileged to spend time with these great kids and to tell them a little about what I do. It’s important for children to be aware of ways they can help their community, and I thoroughly enjoyed inspiring these kids about civic engagement.”
