Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,TCN-Deerpark) today announced that he has once again been named to the Farm Bureau’s prestigious Circle of Friends. Brabenec represents the Black Dirt Region of the Hudson Valley, which is one of the most fertile farm lands in the country and a prime area for growing onions, radishes, lettuce, carrots and sod.

“I am extremely humbled and proud to once again be named to the Farm Bureau’s Circle of Friends,” Brabenec said. “Being privileged enough to represent one of New York’s most prestigious agricultural hotbeds, I know many of the farmers in my district by name and serve to protect their business’s and family’s livelihood. It is crucial that we continue to protect those in an industry that is susceptible to flooding, drought and insect devastation year after year, and I will certainly keep those concerns in mind while conducting the people’s business in Albany.”
