Brabenec Delivers Valentines to Seniors

As part of his annual Valentine’s Day tradition, Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,TCN-Deerpark) visited St. Joseph’s Adult Care Home in Sloatsburg to distribute Valentine’s Day cards to residents that were made by local students at Sloatsburg Elementary School. “Today is about displaying a show of kindness to others, and I was pleased to have the opportunity to bring Valentine’s Day cards to some great residents at St. Joseph’s,” Brabenec said. “I encourage everyone to take some time to show a loved one or someone close to them how much they care this Valentine’s Day.”

“I always enjoy visiting with local students because they are the future of our state, and it is important that we foster their curiosity and potential as much as possible,” Brabenec said. “These students were excited to make Valentine’s Day cards for local seniors, and I am proud of their enthusiasm and impressed by their knowledge.”
