Assemblyman Karl Brabenec (R,C,I-Deerpark) joined the Orange County Tavern and Restaurant Association Saturday in sponsoring (845) Restaurants, a public Facebook group. (845) Restaurants will allow restaurants and residents in the Hudson Valley to post menus, special meal deals, holiday offerings and business hours in a centralized location. The Facebook group also serves as a free advertisement service for area restaurants.

“This Facebook page is a great tool that helps out struggling restaurants and residents who want to see all of their takeout options,” said Brabenec. “In just two days, the page has grown by 650 members, proving that people are hungry for restaurant information. I hope (845) Restaurants will continue to gain traction to keep Hudson Valley restaurants in business.”
