“This is asinine. The very same members of this Legislature who authorized a $2.1 billion stimulus for illegal immigrants now won’t even come to the table to discuss providing economic relief for our elderly veterans. 

“They saw no problem with dishing out $15,600 checks to people who are here illegally, but giving a bit of economic help to those who fought for our freedom is too much? They ought to be ashamed of themselves.

“This is yet another example of radical ideologues in the state Legislature reminding us where their priorities lie- ideology over logic and illegals over veterans.”
