For Rockland’s Read-in, I read “Girl Running” for Ms. Moro’s class at Bardonia Elementary School. It was special for me too because my daughters, Lily and Paige, are both Ms. Moro’s students!
I proudly presented Jeannie Nicolakis a NYS Assembly Citation honoring her for the 50th Anniversary since she opened Sparky’s Diner in the Town of Haverstraw. I’m always proud to support our small businesses, and so proud of Jeannie and her family!

Our libraries are critical community assets – it was great to meet with librarians, staff, and leaders of the Ramapo-Catskill Library System, which serves Rockland County. I’ve been proud to already have presented nearly $450,000 to New City, Valley Cottage, Haverstraw Kings Daughter’s Libraries – and will continue to support more in the RCLS.
