Assemblyman Patrick Carroll Sworn into New York State Assembly
Albany, NY – On Monday, December 9, Assemblyman Patrick Carroll (D-Rockland) was sworn in to represent District 96 in the New York State Assembly. Carroll was elected to the Assembly in November and with his swearing in this week will fill the vacancy following the departure of Assemblyman Ken Zebrowski.
“I am excited to begin this chapter as the next Assemblyman representing District 96 in the New York State Assembly. Our community needs strong leaders in Albany to ensure that our voices are heard on important issues. I am committed to supporting our local schools, eliminating government waste, protecting our environment, and fighting against overdevelopment. I look forward to working with my colleagues to create a fairer and stronger New York,” said Assemblyman Carroll.
Assemblyman Carroll was first elected to the Assembly in November 2024. He previously served as a Councilman in the Town of Clarkstown since 2018. Assemblyman Carroll currently resides in Bardonia with his wife, Natalie, and four daughters, Madelyn, Lily, Paige, and Hailey.
The 96th Assembly District includes the entire Towns of Clarkstown and Haverstraw and a portion of the Town of Orangetown.
