Smullen Celebrates Upcoming Gloversville Downtown Revitalization Initiative

Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R,C,I,SAM-Meco) is congratulating the City of Gloversville as it has recently been selected by the governor’s office for a $10 million-dollar Downtown Revitalization Initiative.

"I'm glad to see the people of Gloversville receive state resources for downtown revitalization," Smullen said. "Gloversville has a long history of strong community ties and civic pride, so to see that persistence rewarded with a large investment from the state is exciting. I look forward to tracking the development of this project and seeing the results."

“I want to thank Governor Hochul in helping to orchestrate this program to invest in the community. And I want to congratulate Gloversville’s Mayor Vincent DeSantis on the hard work he and the team from the Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council put in to ensure winning this grant. I am looking forward to seeing how this turns out,” Smullen concluded.
