Support For People With Differing Abilities

Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R,C,I,SAM-Meco) rallied with colleagues on both sides of the aisle today at a press conference reaffirming commitment to protecting employees with differing abilities. Smullen is a protector for those with developmental disabilities, including those with differing abilities, and is always seeking to ensure that those who support them are treated fairly and respectfully. He is continuing to commit to that effort with this resolution.

“People with differing abilities matter, and those who support them deserve workplace protections,” Smullen said. “New York should rightfully be known as the state that supports those with differing abilities. It’s the job of the legislature to support this bipartisan resolution, K665, to reaffirm our support to our people.”
