Assemblyman Hawley Speaks With Superintendent of West Point
Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R,I,C-Batavia) recently spoke with Lt. Gen. David H. Huntoon Jr., Superintendent of the West Point Military Academy, at the Capitol in Albany. On hand for the Assembly’s Annual West Point Day, Lt. Gen. Huntoon visited the Assembly Chamber with this year’s class of cadets to be recognized for their excellence and dedication. Assemblyman Hawley thanked Lt. Gen. Huntoon for his continuing contributions, not only to New York state, but to the entire nation.
Hawley, a member of the Assembly Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, served seven years in the Ohio Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves. He will be sponsoring the 4th annual Patriot Trip to Washington D.C. from September 22-25. Over 375 veterans and family members have made the trip since its inception.
