Hawley to Host Free Community Health Fair for Greater Rochester Region
Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R,C,I-Batavia) will be hosting a free community health fair on Thursday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the R.I.T. Inn and Conference Center located at 5257 West Henrietta Rd. in Henrietta.
“Our health is the most important asset we have and as we age it is crucial to monitor our health to ensure we are living the best lives we can,” Hawley said. “Unfortunately, going to the doctor can be arduous and expensive, but this community health fair is a great opportunity to receive feedback on things like vision and blood pressure and receive that all-important seasonal flu shot in a stress-free environment at no cost. I encourage all of my constituents to take advantage of this opportunity and I look forward to seeing all of you there.”
The fair is open to residents in the greater Rochester area and will include blood pressure, glucose and hearing screenings, organ and tissue donor registration, flu shots, body mass index checks, six free healthy living seminars laser and vision screenings and information about the yellow dot program.
