Woodside, NY – New York State Assemblymember Steven Raga announced $100,000 in NYS funding for the Emerald Isle Immigration Center (EIIC) for Fiscal Year 2026–27. The funding will support EIIC’s immigration services, which assist immigrants and their families across New York City with citizenship, immigration benefits, and access to essential legal information and support.

The funding comes at a critical time as demand for immigration services continues to grow and nonprofit organizations providing these services face significant funding challenges.

“Emerald Isle Immigration Center has been a trusted resource and impactful advocate for immigrant families in Woodside and across New York City for generations,” said Assemblymember Raga. “I am proud to secure this funding so EIIC can continue providing the critical services and support that so many New Yorkers have come to rely upon. Immigrant communities are facing unprecedented uncertainty. I will never stop fighting alongside partners like EIIC to ensure that families have access to the information and assistance they need to build secure futures here in our great City.

Founded to support immigrant communities through direct services, advocacy, and information, Emerald Isle Immigration Center has assisted thousands of immigrants throughout New York City. The organization’s immigration team provides guidance to those applying for citizenship, family reunification, legal status, and other immigration-related benefits.

The $100,000 in state funding secured by Assemblymember Raga will help ensure that these vital services remain accessible to community members who rely on them.
