Join Assemblyman Al Stirpe and Sunnking Electronics Recycling at a FREE electronics recycling event on Saturday, July 27, at Cicero-North Syracuse High School from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m!

“Recycling our unwanted electronics like outdated televisions can seem like a daunting task,” said Stirpe. “Thanks to our continued partnership with Sunnking Electronics Recycling, residents can responsibly get rid of their unwanted items by participating on our event!”

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the average household uses nearly 30 electronic products and the amount of consumer gadgets being generated is on the rise. The process of recycling electronics includes sorting, dismantling, separating, and recovering valuable material that can yield material that can be returned to the supply chain to be reused or disposed of properly, without having to end up in landfills.[1] Electronics management inclusive of recycling these manmade items increases environmental sustainability practices in New York State.
