“Governor Cuomo’s Public Trust Act is a comprehensive approach that will begin to restore the public’s trust in our state government. This proposal will help clean up Albany by expanding penalties against corrupt public officials. This Act has unanimous and bipartisan support among New York’s District Attorneys, as it will give them the tools they need to root out and punish those who violate the public trust. Now is the time for real ethics reform and to crack down on the corruption in our state government.”
