“Like many others in Central New York, the state fair is a place I look forward to visiting every summer. Whether it’s enjoying the great food produced from farms across our state, the rides on the midway or the many concerts and shows that come to the fair every year, there is always something fun for the whole family.

“Today, Governor Cuomo came to Central New York and outlined his vision for the future of the fair. These improvements will transform the fairgrounds into a year-round, world-class facility with a new Expo Center, an improved equestrian facility, a new Midway and RV Park, a new entryway as well as updates to Chevy Court. This critical investment, which I was proud to support in this year’s state budget, will increase tourism, create jobs and ensure that the fair continues to be a staple of the Central New York experience for future generations. This investment will also allow the fairgrounds to reach its potential as an economic engine for our region.”
