Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C-Horicon) invited the Adirondack United Varsity Girls Ice Hockey Team to the Assembly floor in the New York state Capitol on Tuesday. The United secured their first NYSPHAA state championship after a perfect 18-0 season. The United encompasses a number of Section II schools including Queensbury, Corinth, Hudson Falls, South Glens Falls, Glens Falls and Saratoga Springs School Districts.

“Congratulations to the Adirondack United Varsity Girls Ice Hockey Team on their first state championship! As they skated their way to a perfect 18-0 season, they've not only made their schools proud but also the communities they represent. It's an honor to welcome them to the Assembly floor, representing the excellence of Section II schools. I am proud to recognize their remarkable success,” said Simpson.
