Assemblyman Matt Simpson Congratulates Fort William Henry’s 2025 NYSHTA Award Recipients

New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association recognized Christy Romaine and Andrew Reynolds of the Fort William Henry Hotel & Conference Center.

Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C-Adirondack) extends his congratulations to Christy Romaine and Andrew Reynolds of the Fort William Henry Hotel & Conference Center in Lake George for their recognition from the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association (NYSHTA). Both Andrew and Christy have been chosen as 2025 Stars of the Industry Award winners. Christy Romaine was named Lodging Employee of the Year, and Andrew Reynolds was recognized as General Manager of the Year.

Andrew and Christy were chosen by a panel of judges among more than 150 nominees. Their achievements highlight the Fort William Henry Hotel & Conference Center’s role as a leader in New York state’s tourism landscape.

Simpson praised the recipients, stating, “I am incredibly proud to celebrate Christy Romaine and Andrew Reynolds for their well-deserved recognition as 2025 NYSHTA Stars of the Industry. The Fort provides exceptional hospitality and has built a welcoming environment for visitors to Lake George from around the world. Their work strengthens our region’s reputation as a premier destination.”

Sam Luciano, president of Fort William Henry, also commended the awardees: “Christy’s professionalism and heart for hospitality make her an invaluable part of our team. Her ability to lead with integrity and inspire those around her is truly deserving of this recognition.” On Reynolds, Luciano added, “Andrew’s passion for hospitality and his hands-on approach have made a lasting impact on our team and our guests. We are thrilled to see his hard work recognized at the state level.”

The 2025 Stars of the Industry Awards celebrate the individuals and properties that set the standard for service in New York’s hospitality industry.
