Simpson Announces Over $100,000 Approved for Library Construction Projects in District

Northville Public Library and Caldwell-Lake George Library to receive funds for major improvements.

Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C-Adirondack) is proud to announce that the New York State Education Department and New York State Library have approved a series of public library construction and renovation projects funded through the FY 2024-2025 State Budget. Over $100,000 in state capital funding will support two modernization projects for the Northville Public Library and the Caldwell-Lake George Library.

“This is fantastic news for these two libraries. This investment from the New York State Education Department’s Library Construction Program will help ensure they continue to serve our residents and visitors right here in the Adirondacks for years to come,” Simpson said.

The Northville Public Library was approved for $71,431 to modernize different areas throughout the building, making it more accessible and safe for all visitors. The Caldwell-Lake George Library will receive $37,068 for interior renovations which will include rest room accessibility improvement.
