Assemblymember Solages & Legislator Solages collaborate to bring a free legal clinic to Elmont in honor of MLK Day
Valley Stream, NY – Assemblywoman Michaelle C. Solages is pleased to announce a collaborative effort with the Amistad Long Island Black Bar Association and Nassau County Legislator Carrie Solages to host a Free Legal Clinic Forum in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. on Saturday, January 13th, at 10:00 a.m. The event will take place at Elmont Memorial Library, aiming to provide valuable legal assistance and advice to community members.
The free Legal Clinic is open to all Long Island residents seeking guidance on various legal matters. Qualified attorneys from the Amistad Bar Association will be available to offer free legal advice and assistance on various topics, including immigration, family law, estate planning, criminal law, and business law. Additionally, the event is free of charge, and no appointment is necessary. RSVP is strongly recommended. Attendees are encouraged to bring any relevant documents or information related to their legal concerns.
This event, coinciding with Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, holds particular significance. Martin Luther King Jr. dedicated his life to justice, equality, and civil rights. As we celebrate his legacy, the free Legal Clinic is an opportunity for our community to continue its vision by ensuring everyone has access to justice and understands their rights under the law.
