Valley Stream, NY – September 3 – The APNA Community Center, in partnership with New York State Assemblywoman Michaelle C. Solages, will be hosting a Benefits Assistance Clinic to support local residents in applying for public benefits. The clinic will take place on September 14th, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 33 North Central Avenue, Valley Stream, NY 11580.

The clinic is designed to provide personalized assistance for individuals applying for or recertifying their eligibility for SNAP/Food Stamps and other public benefits, including cash assistance programs and Medicaid. Attendees will receive hands-on support to ensure that they can access the resources they need.

Assemblywoman Michaelle C. Solages expressed the importance of this event, stating, "Access to public benefits is essential for the well-being of our community, especially for those facing financial challenges. This clinic is about more than just assistance; it's about empowering individuals to access the resources they need to thrive. I'm proud to collaborate with the APNA Community Center to provide this vital support to our neighbors in Valley Stream."
