Valley Stream, NY — Assemblywoman Michaelle C. Solages released a newsletter to the community highlighting her wins for the 22nd Assembly District during the 2024 legislative session in Albany. The state budget, passed in April, made historic investments in healthcare and hospitals, schools and higher education, housing, public safety, and the environment. Legislation sponsored by Assemblywoman Solages also passed both houses of the legislature, which if signed into law, would improve government transparency, make the Homeowner Protection Program permanent, help stop suspicious firearm purchases, and more.
