Assemblywoman Solages to Host "Go Green, Cut Costs" Webinar with US Department of Energy for Businesses in the 22nd Assembly District

Valley Stream, NY – Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages, in conjunction with the US Department of Energy’s Onsite Energy Technical Assistance Partnership and Industrial Assessment Center, will host a free webinar for businesses and organizations in our area on how they can benefit from grant funding as part of the Onsite Energy Program.

The program provides technical assistance, market analysis, and recommendations on best practices to help industrial facilities and other large energy users increase the adoption of on-site clean energy technologies. The Department of Energy is also allocating grant funding of up to $300,000 for small and medium-sized manufacturers with high energy consumption to implement on-site clean energy-based technologies.

Businesses benefit from reduced energy costs with onsite energy production and contribute to a clean energy economy. Assemblywoman Solages is proud to partner with the US Department of Energy to provide this information to businesses in the 22nd Assembly District.

The webinar will be held via zoom. Details will be provided upon registration. The webinar will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
